My Story

Hi, I'm Mike.

A few years ago I was 30kg heavier than I am today. I know what it's like to feel uncomfortable in your own body, and I know exactly how intimidating a weights room feels when you've never set foot in one.

I lost that weight while keeping my muscle and my strength — and that difference is everything. It's the difference between finishing a weight-loss journey feeling strong and capable, or finishing it feeling weak, soft and exhausted.

That matters even more if you're losing weight with GLP-1 medication like Mounjaro or Wegovy. The weight comes off fast — and without resistance training, a big chunk of what you lose is muscle, not fat. Protecting that muscle is the single best thing you can do for how you'll look, feel and function when you reach your goal.

So I built a different kind of training experience: a private, fully equipped gym in Cleator Moor where it's just you and me. No crowds, no mirrors full of strangers, no judgement. Just a calm place to learn how to lift properly — at your pace, on your terms.

My goal is simple: to take you from never having touched a weight to walking into any gym with your head held high.

Starting is simple

1. Message me. Tap the WhatsApp button and tell me a bit about yourself. No forms, no commitment.

2. We have a free 15-minute chat. I'll listen to your goals, answer your questions, and we'll work out if I'm the right fit. If I'm not, I'll say so.

3. Book your first session. Start with a single £50 session — no packages, no pressure. If you love it, we build from there.
